I wasn't really saying anything.
I didn't mean anything about the person.
But you can imagine that I didn't show this picture to the unsuspecting man.
As usual, I arrived early for my recent event for Marc by Marc Jacobs at Saks 5th Avenue.
I had arrived early, found a place nearby to hang out (bought a water ~ i call that paying rent), and decided to do some warm-ups before the event. To see how people would fit on the pre-drawn body that I had been hired to provide.
I just pick people at random ~ whoever is at an easy, inconspicuous view in the 'restaurant'. I wanted to see how a front-view face
and how a side-view face
would look on the predrawn body.
Actually, I like the way the man looks better.
I felt like the side-view looked a litl mean with the bold front-view walk:

I drew at this Party a while back:
I feel so interested in the ramifications of what was going on.
I was told to set up in the lobby, so I didn't really See it this time,
but I Think they were celebrating a baby/toddler's time to get his HAIR COVERED.
One of the Rites of Passage for this group.
Yet I've also been to Parties for other people who celebrate
a baby/toddler's time to get his HAIR CUT. One of Their Rites of Passage.
Both groups, thinking they're doing something so Different.
Looks so similar to me.
Happy People. Dressed Up. Feeling Special.
Faces. Laughter. Things to Celebrate. Rules about Clothes.
with food. and decor. fancy dinners.
foot-patterns. music beats. and Surprises (that's me!)
I feel glad if I can help them to be happy. At least for this little while.
They all seem the same from my point of view.
Even though they think they're all different.
BTW, here are two more pictures that I drew at this Party. I like these Caricatures. I have to note, though, that I drew the Caricatures, but I did not do this Face-Painting.
