I practiced making Digital Caricatures here.
I particularly like how all Colors of Linework look with my IPad style.
Still looking for speed though ~ the last picture here with Just the Linework got done in 1/3 the time of each one of the other pictures here.
I miss the fantastic impact I can achieve with the IPad, but some faces (like this one) might really be just fine as just linework.
I feel like it's important for me to know all sorts of things in order to please many different Party Clients.

Oh My Goodness ~ I just had quite an intense experience.
I had grabbed my High School Yearbook figuring I could Caricature face after face to get ready for this week's Digital Event. Quickly chose my first image ~ at first I actually thought it was a Guy. But as soon as I started drawing, I realized that it was one of my closest Girl friends from back then.
Back then, I thought she was just playing ~ But now I can see how Very Intense it all was for her. I feel overwhelmed. And the emotional aspect caused me to spend too long on this Caricature. Oh. I'll try it again tomorrow. To quickly draw one after the other.

I'm getting there. I just made a Digital Caricature on my IPad. Figuring out a Professional Approach to the Artwork. I felt comfortable making it.
For practice, I just used one of the people that I previously drew with Traditional Caricature Supplies.
Now to be smoother with this approach. That can be achieved if I just do a lot of them. Then to figure out the Projector and Screen. Maybe a printer. And I'll be ready to offer them at events.

Still not ready yet, but my studies for Digital Caricatures at Parties are moving along.
They're still not as fast as the Traditional Caricatures that I do at Parties, but I actually took strides towards it. I designed my own ready-made quick-palette on my IPad.
This might surprise you, but it actually took me over an hour to draw this first one:
Then, I added shading. Perhaps an additional 20 minutes here:
Okay. That was only my first pass with my new approach.
So this next one only took about 20 minutes.
Much better, but still not good enough for working Digitally at Parties.
And here is my best try for today. Still not ready to go out with them, but I drew the following Caricature with Shading on my IPad in 20 minutes:
For events, I'm still only offering the Caricatures on Paper. Because I can draw about 10 faces per hour that way. But I'm feeling more confident that I am on the right path to also offer digitals soon.
