Confidence. Drawing My Own Way. I Am Back!
The way I draw CARICATURES is Naturally Cool. After doing my Line-Quality-Warm-Ups ~ like the ones I sell at https://www.artpal.com/?s=Gelbman&f_ss=1 ~ I DRAW WHATEVER I LIKE ~ IN WHATEVER ORDER I AM IMPRESSED. Sometimes with a Predraw, Sometimes not. It's whatever I feel like doing. I draw this way to quickly describe my ideas.
Professional Quality comes from my Own Style that has developed by Drawing Thousands of Caricatures. I have to Dance with my Own Body, Sing with my Own Voice, and Draw with my Own Style.
I drew these Caricatures using some Photos from this Blog as References. I did Not look at the Caricatures that I drew at the Events. I just used the Photos so I could loosen up and Enjoy Drawing today.
I'll post them with the Reference pictures tomorrow.

I don't need to give myself extra Jobs when I'm practicing Drawing in my Off-time. There are other purposes to my Drawing Exercises.
In this case, I set about to do a Memory Drawing. I didn't feel like drawing, but I did it anyway ~ as an exercise. Instead of trying to develop that Best Drawing, today's exercise was to develop the ability to draw well no matter what I'm feeling.
I looked at one of the Photos that I had not yet posted here. I did Not look at the Caricature of this young man that I drew at the Event. I just looked at the Photo of him for 5 minutes. Then I put away the Photo and drew a Party-Style Caricature from Memory. To exercise how to Focus.

I had Company at the house today. I Enjoyed sharing my Drawing Time with my Friend. But it felt more like the way I already Know what I'm doing when I'm at a Party than it felt like my Self-Development Drawing Time ~ which is what I set out to do each day.
We just did the No-predraw, No-fuss Drawings that I did here a couple of days ago. Now I wish I let my Friend lead instead ~ so I could experienced something that wasn't already in my own head.

I drew freely. No predraw. No preplan. It felt aaaaahhh good.
I feel like I am breaking out of the Self-Imposed Prison that I create every once in a while with the intention of improving my Artwork. This is the real thing.
