Oh My Goodness. I did it! I did it! I did it! And it wasn't even difficult at all.

Watching my Ceiling Fan whirr around.... trying to keep up with it to see the individual fan-blades.... wondering why I could only see a blur.... wondering why my eyes couldn't keep up with the fan..... What was I really seeeeeing here???

I noticed that the right side looked different tha the left side. Hmmmm.... Ahah! Probably because of the tilt of the fan-blades.

Then I blinked my eyes. Huh? What's This? Blink blink blink. I can see the Individual fan-blades. Simply by blinking. It caused a Stop Motion.

I couldn't take a photo showing the Moving fan ~ because the camera just snapped a quick moment in time. And even the video that I have here is slower than what I'm looking at. When the fan is moving, I just saw dark and light circles. Unless I blinked!

Lovely lady ~ really cool. Great reaction to this Caricature that I drew of her at a recent Event. I sure wished I could have gotten a more accurate take on her teeth While I was drawing. They were quite noticeable Before and After I drew this, but then..... Not While I was drawing. Right after I drew it, I saw the different spacing and the smaller size of the Individual tooths. Anyway, great reaction. I felt supported in my interest in Exaggeration. So when I got back to the studio, I drew these other Caricatures based on random photos.

I was really 'in the Zone'. Able to Let Go of trying to second guess what people Might think. I felt Smooth and Haaappy with the two papers of 'couples'. Comfortable drawing and excellent results.

But I couldn't (see?) (handle?) the Exaggerations on the 2 Caricatures of Individuals ENOUGH. At first, I might have guessed because it's harder to exaggerate young Children. That maybe it would be easier to just switch to my (slightly) tamer style for young children. But no.... it's not that.... Because there's a perfectly exaggerated Child in one of the 'Couples' Caricatures.

and the process continues. I am an Artist.

Hmmmm...... I like the way it felt to draw them. Just relaxing. With the pen making curly lines. And fast fly lines. It's what I do

Warming up for today's gig. I used the first photo that popped up on my website. The less animated photo of the first people that I posted in the previous post about the Fun Office.

First I drew a nice plain Caricature like the ones I see online. Nice:

And then the other lady. Not my greatest, but okay:

Then, even though it's more fun for the Artist to draw Individuals, I drew them together on one paper. Because it's sometimes requested at Parties:

Okay. I'm feeling constrained. I switched to Exaggerated:

Okay. But it's not quite Enough. Even though I had gone for the Exaggeration, I still felt constrained by my initial project here tonight ~ of drawing 'Face', aka eyes nose mouth. So I just gave up on drawing it 'Right', and I did it in My Own Style. Exaggerated and free.

Obviously, the style I developed is Better. It evolved through years of Experience. I am reminded once again to Stop second guessing myself.

A person would much rather display the upbeat creative freely Exaggerated picture in the house!
