Today I was thinking about drawing Cartoon Eyes. Simple. For my Party Caricatures. I started by emphasizing (focusing on?) the Ball of the eye. But then I wanted to focus on the skin that's overlapping the eyeball.
While I was at it, I got off on a tangent, and noticed that I'd better look in to Tongues. Success. I got it to lay down. I tamed the Tongue!

Good idea to shade eyeballs.
Sometimes it's appropriate to use more than one Color for skintone. Sometimes it's appropriate to use different pressures of only One Colorstick for skintone.

So far, I have 3 Events booked for this week. None of them have extra things involved to complicate my Artwork. Just hired to 'Draw Caricatures'. Aaaahh.
One of them is a Wedding. One is an eleven-year-old-Girl's Dinner Party. One is for the Staff of a Bar.
To warm up, I drew one of each ~ from random photos that I found online. Got a little carried away ~ teehee. Just having fun on my time off.

In some ways, drawing Tame Caricatures at today's Event (as requested by my Client)
was easier than having carte blanche. But in some ways, it was harder.
Even without my Client's instructions, sometimes I draw like this anyway. But it's hard to Force it. Hard to Control the Artwork.
A lot happens in 3 Hours. Here's one of the pictures that I drew. Along with this Guest's Reaction. Sometimes I would feel 'egged on' to draw Exaggerated Caricatures when my Audience started getting in to the small exaggerations that I was allowing into my Tame Caricatures. So I would feel conflicted ~ two different messages in my brain ~ I feel like it's more sure that I can easily get great pictures if I just let it happen. But I also feel thrilled that I was able to please my Client and his Guests
