I lost 949 photos of people I drew live! I took them off my phone and put them onto my Computer and Deleted a lot of stuff and Emptied the Recycle Bin

because I've been struggling to keep the danger-zone Red Line indicating low disc space off my Computer and

and I deleted the pictures of all those People! Oh! Lost!

People are precious. Appreciate them while they're with you.

My work recently took me out of town ~ I was staying at the Tradewinds Resort in St Pete Beach in FL. Real nice place. If I had the time to Vacation, this would have been a perfect place. On the beach. With so many activities right in the hotel.

But what I really wanted to note here was the Artwork in the Guest Rooms. I had been raised to believe I'd find some mass produced junk on hotel walls, so I was really blown away by the quality of the Artwork in my room. Vibrant. Painterly. Expressive. Immediate.

I just had an interesting experience. A girl wanted Basic Picture. Drawn with Black Marker. With eyes, nose, mouth. Nothing too wild. Nothing too exciting.

A real Artist who has evolved to the point that I have might have refused. Arrogant. I Know Better. But What's That???

Most people love the exciting Fun ~ not know what's going to come out ~ not knowing what the Artist is going to draw. But there are plenty of people who feel more comfortable with Standard Basic Picture. Not having studied the Art of Caricature as much as I have, they might need to 'Be Normal' (whatever that is). Or or they might be unable to separate their reality from my exaggeration.

While I enjoy my ability to do highly evolved Artwork, I do recognize that there are other things that are much more important. Like, like. What would Jesus do? He wouldn't worship Z'Ahrt ~

So I tried to please this girl. I gave sincere effort to drawing her 'plainly'. And I felt a little more evolved because she was pleased:

Funny, but on the very same day that the Engagement couple had a professional Photographer focused on our small group (just the couple, me, and the photographer), I also had a whole Parade of a Photography Club pass by. This was while I was set up just waiting for my client to come by.

Many of the Photographers in that club chose to take pictures of me. One of them even emailed me his picture. Here it is. By William Hughes. He seemed like an Artist of Note too. What an amazing world. Full of so much Talent.

Don't hide your Talent in the ground. Let it see the light. Let it grow.
